Position:

HR Generalist

Location:

Superior Township, MI (Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor, \& Canton area)

Duration:

1 Year contract with possibility of extensions or conversion based off performance and budget

Pay Rate

: $32-34/hr

Shift:

Work Schedule Monday –

Friday (2 days remote, 3 days onsite) Tuesday is a core onsite day.

  • Flexible start time between

8:00–9:00 AM

  • Preferred schedule:

9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • 8‑hour workday with 1‑hour lunch
  • Core availability:

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

OT:

There might be an opportunity to work OT depending on workload, but it is not required or given out regularly.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree completed
  • 3-7 years of experience within vendor coordination, audits, HR compliance, onboarding, compliance training, and other related HR functions
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Mid-Level HR Generalist to

support the Human Resources team for one of our automotive clients in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, coordination, and administration of learning programs, including onboarding, leadership, skills, and compliance training.
  • Assist with vendor coordination and training needs assessments.
  • Provide logistics support for training delivery and track participation.
  • Help evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Support culture and engagement initiatives, internal communications, and survey analysis.
  • Partner with HR and leaders on activities that strengthen culture and employee development.
  • Assist in drafting, updating, and maintaining HR policies and procedures.
  • Support consistent policy interpretation and respond to employee and manager questions.
  • Help communicate policies and support compliance‑related training.
  • Assist with audits, documentation, and HR compliance record‑keeping.
  • Administrate and support all areas of off-boarding process.
  • Collaborate with Employee Relations, Legal, and HR partners on policy‑related matters.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
