Job Description
We are seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist to provide specialized assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services for students aged 5 to 22 with severe behavioral and developmental needs.
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations, including AAC assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for speech, social communication, and feeding disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support communication goals across environments.
- Train staff and families on communication strategies and AAC systems.
- Support behavior intervention plans and crisis situations with effective communication techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation, ensure compliance, and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
Qualifications include a master’s degree, current CA licensure, and experience working with students with complex needs. Preferred skills include ABA knowledge, AAC familiarity, and bilingual ability.
