Frontend Developer

We are seeking a Frontend Developer to design and build modern, responsive user interfaces for web applications. This role focuses on developing scalable, high-performance UI components and integrating them with backend services in a cloud-based environment. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Angular, modern JavaScript frameworks, and UI/UX best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop dynamic, responsive user interfaces using Angular and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Build reusable UI components that promote scalability and maintainability across applications
• Apply UI/UX best practices to deliver intuitive and user-friendly experiences
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
• Optimize application performance using techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, and caching
• Develop UI components that interact with cloud-based services such as AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB)
• Utilize HTML, CSS, and preprocessors such as Sass to create consistent and responsive designs
• Manage source code using version control systems such as Git (GitHub, GitLab)
• Support CI/CD pipelines to streamline build, test, and deployment processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile development environments

Required Qualifications

• Must be fully cleared with a recent polygraph
• Must be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this posting
• Experience developing front-end applications using Angular and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong understanding of UI design principles, human-computer interaction, and user experience best practices
• Experience building responsive, interactive UI components
• Experience working with HTML, CSS, and UI frameworks such as Material Design
• Experience integrating UI components with RESTful APIs
• Experience optimizing UI performance and application responsiveness
• Experience using version control tools such as Git
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience integrating front-end applications with cloud-based backend services

• Experience with UI testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Karma, or Jasmine
• Familiarity with design systems and UI frameworks such as Material UI or Bootstrap
• Experience developing complex, data-driven user interfaces
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
• Experience using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Experience working with large-scale front-end codebases
• Experience with additional front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Java, Python, or Node.js
• Experience with AWS services such as EKS or Step Functions
