Why does the job exist?

The Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Data Hub Analyst will:

Support implementation, operational coordination, and technical oversight activities associated with the Rural Health Data Hub initiative within the New Mexico Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Program;

Support implementation of the RHT governance structure by coordinating with contractors, providers, technology partners, state agencies, and external stakeholders to support alignment with CMS requirements and State priorities.

How does it get done?

The Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Data Hub Analyst is responsible for:

Supporting development and implementation of the State¿s rural health data and analytics infrastructure, including coordination of data integration, analytics, reporting, provider engagement, and operational activities associated with the Rural Health Data Hub;

Leading implementation and operational coordination for the Rural Health Data Hub initiative, including data integration, reporting, analytics coordination, provider engagement, operational planning, and technical implementation support;

Coordinating with contractors, providers, Health Information Exchange (HIE) partners, technology vendors, state agencies, and external stakeholders to support approved workplans, operational workflows, reporting activities, and technology-enabled solutions;

Supporting development and monitoring of data governance processes, reporting frameworks, dashboards, analytics tools, and implementation activities aligned with program goals and CMS requirements;

Monitoring implementation progress, operational risks, reporting activities, and technology-related dependencies, and elevate issues to Program Management Office (PMO) leadership as appropriate;

Developing executive briefings, implementation summaries, stakeholder-facing communications, presentations, and tracking tools;

Collaborating with PMO leadership, data and evaluation staff, operations, communications, procurement, finance, providers, and external partners to support aligned implementation across the RHT Program portfolio.

Work is performed for the Health Care Authority, the RHT Program Management Office, providers, technology vendors, contractors, HIE partners, state agencies, CMS, and program stakeholders to support implementation and operational oversight of the Rural Health Data Hub initiative within the Rural Health Transformation Program.

Ideal Candidate

Minimum Qualification

High School diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of experience directly related to the position in providing GIS support, research, statistics, computer science, data analysis, accounting, auditing, finance, economics, business, public administration, budgeting, management, and/or systems analysis or related professional certification as determined by the hiring agency. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling two (2) years may substitute for the required experience.

Employment Requirements

Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.

Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate.

Working Conditions

Work is primarily performed in an office setting with extensive use of a computer, phone, virtual meeting platforms, and Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) equipment. Position may require prolonged sitting, review of technical and operational documentation, coordination of virtual and in-person meetings, and occasional in-state travel for stakeholder engagement, trainings, implementation meetings, or site visits.
