Job Description
About Us:
Heavenly Heat Saunas is a high-performance, fast-growing health company with a clear focus since 1988: building home saunas without glues, hidden plywood, or synthetic materials. We are an ecommerce business focused on long-term quality and customer trust.
As we expand into new product categories and continue to grow, we are hiring a full-time Director of Operations to own execution across the business. This role is responsible for leading managers, setting priorities, and ensuring the company operates at a high standard. This is not a project manager role or a fractional position.
What You'll Do:
- Own execution across the business—ensure priorities are clear and results are delivered across Customer Success, Sales, HR, Product Development, Logistics, and Finance
- Lead managers across functions; develop strong leaders and hold them accountable to performance, ownership, and results
- Set priorities and ensure teams are working on the right things at the right time
- Build and improve systems and processes to support a growing ecommerce operation
- Identify issues early, remove bottlenecks, and solve problems before they impact customers or revenue
- Establish and maintain operating cadence (KPIs, reporting, weekly execution rhythms)
- Partner with department leaders to set goals, track performance, and improve accountability
- Own hiring, onboarding, and development of the team as the company grows
- Improve communication and execution across departments—reduce gaps, delays, and misalignment
- Work with Finance on planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support business decisions
- Ensure logistics and fulfillment are running efficiently and meeting customer expectations
- Manage external partners and vendors with clear expectations and accountability
- Act as a core operator within the business, working closely with the executive team to drive execution
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience leading operations, ideally in an ecommerce or growth-stage business
- Has built and improved systems and processes—not just maintained them
- Experience leading managers and developing leaders across multiple functions
- Able to drive results across teams without needing to be involved in every detail
- Comfortable owning multiple areas of the business at once
- Strong problem solver who can identify issues and move quickly to resolution
- High ownership and accountability—takes responsibility for outcomes, not just activity
- Able to operate at both a strategic level and in day-to-day execution when needed
- Clear communicator who can align teams and set expectations
- Comfortable in a remote environment
- Experience with product development, logistics, and international vendors is a plus
Role Details:
- Full-time employee (not fractional)
- Pay: $125k–$150k\+ total compensation (base \+ performance bonus)
- Location: Fully remote; company office in Austin, TX
- U.S.-based candidates only
