The Mercedes-Benz Van Center of Vancouver opens September 1, 2026 -- a purpose-built commercial van facility, and a ground-floor leadership opportunity for the right Sales Manager to build something from day one.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the full Sprinter van sales operation -- managing the sales team, owning the client relationship pipeline, and driving consistent volume and gross profit performance
  • Build and develop a high-performing commercial van sales team from the ground up -- recruiting, training, and holding the team accountable to clear standards and metrics
  • Establish and manage long-term fleet and commercial client accounts -- serving contractors, logistics operators, medical transport providers, trade service companies, and fleet buyers across the Pacific Northwest
  • Own the sales process end-to-end -- from first contact and vehicle demonstration through deal structure, delivery, and post-sale follow-up
  • Partner with service, parts, and finance to deliver a seamless client experience across every touchpoint of the operation
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share in the Vancouver and greater Portland metro commercial vehicle market
  • Manage CRM with discipline -- maintaining accurate pipeline records, follow-up commitments, and account activity for every client
  • Serve as the face of the Mercedes-Benz Van Center of Vancouver in the local commercial community -- building the store's reputation through professional presence, networking, and consistent delivery on commitments

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3\+ years of automotive sales management experience -- commercial vehicle, fleet, or Sprinter experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of leading a sales team to consistent performance -- volume, gross, and client retention
  • B2B or fleet account management experience a significant plus -- you understand how commercial buyers think and what they need
  • A builder's mindset -- you're energized by the opportunity to establish a culture and a process from day one, not inherit one
  • Strong CRM discipline and the ability to build a culture of pipeline accountability and follow-through on the floor
  • Tenacious prospector and relationship builder -- you grow accounts through consistency, knowledge, and genuine investment in the client's business
  • Reynolds \& Reynolds or CDK experience preferred
  • High integrity with a servant-leader mindset -- you lead by example and earn trust through consistency
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
