Job Description
Position requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, eligibility to begin the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under ASHA supervision, and eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
A school district in Stamford, CT is seeking a motivated
Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF)
for the upcoming school year. This is an excellent opportunity to complete your Clinical Fellowship in a well-resourced, high-performing district with strong mentorship and collaboration.
Position Overview
- Full-time, Monday–Friday (35–40 hours/week)
- Onsite role serving PreK–12 students (assignment based on district needs)
- Supervision provided by a licensed SLP for CF completion
- Full school year contract with potential for renewal
Caseload Details
- Average caseload: 40–55 students (varies by school level)
- Students across general education and special education settings
- Areas of service include:
+ Articulation \& phonological disorders
+ Receptive/expressive language delays
+ Social/pragmatic communication needs
+ Fluency and voice disorders
- Potential exposure to:
+ Autism spectrum disorders
+ AAC/assistive technology users
+ Multilingual/ELL student populations
- Responsibilities:
+ Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations
+ Develop and implement IEP goals
+ Provide direct therapy (individual and small group)
+ Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
+ Maintain accurate documentation and compliance
Connecticut State Requirements (SLP-CF)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility for Connecticut Initial Educator Certificate (Speech-Language Pathologist) through the Connecticut State Department of Education
- Completion of supervised Clinical Fellowship (CF) under a licensed SLP
- Must meet requirements for Connecticut SLP licensure through the Connecticut Department of Public Health
- Required background checks (fingerprinting and school clearance process)
- Passing Praxis exam typically required for full certification pathway

Compensation for this position ranges from $36\.41 to $56\.41\. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
