Video & Media Editor

Beyond The Vines is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Singapore, with a physical and online retail presence in Singapore and the region.

We’re looking for a Video \& Media Editor with a strong visual instinct and a genuine interest in media — someone who enjoys shaping stories through moving image, and can bring a bit of sound design into the mix.

Experience matters less than your eye and your portfolio. If you have a body of work that shows how you think and edit, we’re open to chat!

Responsibilities include:

Video Editing \& Post-Production

• Edit across formats — from campaign films and product features to social content and event coverage
• Shape raw footage into clear, engaging narratives aligned with brand direction
• Execute cuts, pacing, transitions, basic sound design, and colour grading
• Deliver polished outputs optimised for platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, e-commerce)

Content Adaptation \& Versioning

• Create cut-downs and multiple formats (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) from master assets
• Adapt edits with platform behaviour in mind — hooks, pacing, retention
• Support subtitles, text overlays, and localisation where needed

Creative Collaboration

• Work closely with the Visual Communications, Art Direction, and Marketing teams
• Translate briefs into thoughtful, well-executed edits
• Contribute ideas on edit styles, formats, and storytelling approaches

On-Set \& Pre-Production (When Needed)

• Support shoots to ensure footage captured works well in post
• Offer input on shot lists, framing, and coverage from an editor’s perspective

Asset Management \& Workflow

• Keep files, timelines, and exports organised
• Maintain version control and archive projects properly
• Manage timelines in line with campaign and content calendars

Brand \& Quality Control

• Ensure all outputs feel consistent with Beyond The Vines’ visual identity
• Maintain a strong standard across style, pacing, and storytelling

Requirements include:

• Around 2–3 years of editing experience is a plus
• A strong portfolio that shows your taste, pacing, and storytelling
• Comfortable with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Basic understanding of sound design and colour grading
• Familiar with social-first content and formats
• Able to work quickly and adapt in a fast-moving environment
