Job Description

Insight Global client is looking for a Bilingual Human Resources Generalist

to support HR operations at a fast‑paced distribution center in Charlotte, NC. This is a stand‑alone HR role that works closely with a national HR team and reports to the HR Manager for Distribution Centers. The position requires strong floor presence across 1st and 2nd shifts and flexibility to adjust hours as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for all distribution center employees and managers
  • Handle employee relations, including coaching, conflict resolution, investigations, and corrective actions
  • Support onboarding, performance management, training, and development programs
  • Conduct weekly payroll reconciliation and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain employee records, HRIS data, and compliance documentation
  • Assist HR leadership with reporting, research, and data analysis
  • Develop and implement local HR policies aligned with corporate standards
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Participate in special projects as needed
  • Maintain strong on‑the‑floor engagement across both shifts
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Management, or related field preferred
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, including stand‑alone HR support
  • SHRM‑CP or PHR strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of federal and North Carolina employment laws
  • Experience with payroll reconciliation, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and performance management
  • Proficient in HRIS platforms (ADP, Workday, Paycom preferred) and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Flexibility to work 1st and 2nd shifts as needed
  • Fully onsite role, Monday through Friday
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
