About The Role
As a Clinical Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality clinical data pipelines that transform raw wearable signals into research- and regulator-ready datasets. You will work closely with clinicians, researchers, and ML teams to ensure data integrity across studies.
What you’ll do
- Design and implement data pipelines for multimodal physiological data (PPG, acoustics, IMU, temperature).
- Clean, synchronise, and validate real-world, motion-affected clinical datasets.
- Support clinical study design, protocols, and data-collection workflows.
- Develop tooling for annotation, quality control, and dataset versioning.
- Collaborate with ML teams to deliver analysis-ready datasets.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and audit requirements.
What we expect
- Strong experience with time-series data engineering and analysis.
- Proficiency in Python and data frameworks.
- Experience working with clinical or biomedical datasets.
- Understanding of data quality, bias, and reproducibility in health research.
- Ability to collaborate with clinical and engineering stakeholders.
