Role Description
This is a full-time, remote Entry Level Software Engineer role. The engineer will assist in developing, testing, and maintaining software tools that support Parasoleil’s design, project management, and operational workflows. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and efficient code, participating in code reviews, debugging and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams. The role may also involve contributing to web-based applications, integrating internal systems, documenting technical processes, and supporting continuous improvement of digital tools used by the architecture and design community.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience with Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in one or more languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Basic knowledge of Software Development practices, including version control (e.g., Git), testing, and debugging.
- Exposure to Back-End Web Development concepts, such as APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly, follow established coding standards, and work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.
- Interest in architecture, design, or building technologies is a plus.
