The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring HR professional to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment during a period of significant growth. Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Generalist will support a broad range of HR activities across the business, gaining exposure to both day-to-day operations and longer-term people initiatives.
This role is well-suited to someone at the beginning of their HR career, including recent graduates, who is looking to develop within a dynamic and growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of core HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance
- Assist hiring managers with recruitment coordination, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding
- Provide administrative and operational support to ensure smooth running of HR processes
- Act as a first point of contact for employee queries, offering guidance on HR policies and procedures
- Support performance review cycles and employee development initiatives
- Assist in maintaining HR systems and employee records, including use of platforms such as ADP
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Support employee engagement and organisational development initiatives
- Assist with HR reporting and tracking key people metrics
Candidate Profile:
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with an interest in Human Resources
- A degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field is desirable
- Previous HR experience (internships, placements, or work experience) is advantageous but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Familiarity with HR systems (such as ADP) is a plus but not required
