Job Description

Account Executive (Marketing Agency Sales)

Our client is looking for a high-impact Account Executive to join a growing marketing agency and drive revenue through consultative, relationship-led sales. This is not transactional selling—this role is focused on closing high-value marketing retainers and website engagements (\~$10K/month) with sophisticated buyers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the sales cycle from SQL to Closed Won, focusing on converting qualified opportunities into long-term clients
  • Lead consultative discovery conversations, uncovering marketing, CRM, and growth challenges
  • Position strategic solutions across digital marketing services and website projects
  • Build trust with prospects through a friendly, credible, and insight-driven approach
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align solutions with client goals
  • Maintain a light prospecting load (\~25%) while primarily focusing on closing inbound/qualified pipeline

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience selling marketing agency services, retainers, or web projects (not low-cost/high-volume deals)
  • Comfortable selling in the $10K/month\+ range with longer, consultative sales cycles
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, and CRM concepts
  • Ability to lead strategic conversations, not just pitch services
  • Relationship-driven, approachable, and confident communicator
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM is a plus (not required)
