Temporary HR Generalist
Location:
Carlsbad, CA (Onsite with flexibility)
Schedule:
Full‑Time (minimum 30 hours/week)

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and capable
Temporary HR Generalist
to support our HR operations for the remainder of the year. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to develop their HR career, enjoys variety in their day‑to‑day work, and is comfortable supporting employees and leaders across different areas of HR. The selected individual will play a key role in maintaining smooth HR operations and supporting employee‑facing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee relations support, including participation in investigations.
- Facilitation of new hire orientation sessions.
- Management of basic ADA accommodation requests and documentation.
- Coordination of workers' compensation cases, including communication with clinics, paperwork, and light‑duty arrangements.
- Partnering with leaders on job descriptions, salary adjustments, and promotion requests.
- Supporting leaders with policy administration and compliance.
- Assisting managers with disciplinary actions and documentation.
- Bonus: Supporting or facilitating trainings, workshops, or HR‑related sessions.
Qualifications
- 3\+ years
of hands‑on HR Generalist experience.
- Direct experience participating in
employee relations investigations
.
- Strong working knowledge of HR compliance, ADA, and workers' compensation basics.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with professionalism.
- Comfortable working onsite; flexible scheduling available.
