AUAR is a physical AI and robotics company for construction. We are on a mission to make high-quality homes easy and affordable to build. Our robotic MicroFactory deploys directly onto building sites, producing wall, floor and roof panels faster, with less waste and at lower cost. It moves with builders as their pipeline grows, giving them full production control on site. AUAR operates in the US, Canada and Europe.

About the role

We're hiring a Marketing Manager to be our first full-time marketing hire at AUAR. You'll own everything a prospect or customer reads, watches, or downloads about us: the materials our sales team uses, the website builders land on, the case studies that prove we work, and the LinkedIn presence that builds our reputation in the US construction industry.

This is a hands-on, generalist role. You'll work directly with our CEO \& Co-Founder (Mollie Claypool), the Chief of Staff to the CEO (Marina Chisholm), and the US Growth \& Partnerships Lead (Bill Rectanus), with strategic direction from a fractional Head of Marketing during your first few weeks.

You'll set the standards for our voice, ship the assets that sales needs, manage our LinkedIn presence, and make sound tactical decisions within a clear strategic direction.

🤖 What you'll own:

Launch support:

Co-ordinating product launches and customer announcements

Positioning execution:

Translating our positioning into consistent language across every surface

Sales enablement:

Pitch decks, one-pagers, ROI/payback materials, technical spec sheets, and email templates that sales actually uses

Case studies and proof:

Interviewing customers and design partners, producing written and video case studies, building and maintaining our reference library

Content:

Blog posts, technical explainers, and builder-focused educational content

LinkedIn and organic social:

Company page, founder amplification, and building our voice in the homebuilder community

About you

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience, including at least 1 stint at an early-stage B2B startup.
  • Energised by wearing multiple hats and shipping fast. You'd rather have v1 live this week and testing, than v3 perfect next month.
  • You’re a strong writer and can take something highly technical and turn it into copy that's clear, human, and emotionally resonant.
  • You've built sales collateral, case studies, and website pages from scratch.
  • You can ship a deck or website page without waiting for a designer. AI-fluent on visuals, you know when to bring in a freelancer and when to just do it.
  • You’re an AI-native operator and build workflows that compound to research prospects, draft and iterate on copy, repurpose content across formats, generate first-pass visuals, automate research, and ship in hours what used to take days.
  • Comfortable interviewing customers and turning conversations into stories.
  • You’re values-driven: a strong alignment with AUAR's mission and values; low-ego, high-energy, adaptable. You live and breathe the product.
  • You’re London-based, working from our E17 office at least 3 days per week (aligned with the CEO and Chief of Staff to the CEO’s in-office days). Occasional travel to support customer storytelling and launches.

Bonus if you have:

  • Background in or genuine curiosity about hardware, construction, manufacturing, robotics, or industrial categories
  • Video editing or production skills
  • Experience with enterprise B2B sales cycles
  • Experience as the first marketing hire at an early-stage B2B startup
  • Experience marketing into the US, particularly to builders, developers, or construction audiences

📝 How we'll hire

  1. Remote Intro Call with Zana Ajeti (Senior People \& Operations Manager).

15 minutes to talk about AUAR's mission, the role, and what excites you about marketing a hardware product to builders.

  1. Remote Technical Call with Laura Alberty (fractional Head of Marketing).

30-45 minutes to run through your experiences \& abilities, and an opportunity to find out more about the role. You can expect more competency questions in this call.

  1. In-Person Task \& Presentation.

We'll share a current marketing challenge we're working on, ahead of time. You'll come back with how you'd approach it and walk us through your thinking with a few of the team.
