Job Description

A leading financial services organization is seeking an experienced Senior Benefits \& Leave Analyst to support and enhance its employee benefits and leave administration programs. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, regulatory compliance, and a strong employee experience across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in benefits administration, a solid understanding of compliance requirements, and a detail-oriented, solutions-focused approach, working closely with HR, payroll, and cross-functional partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the annual open enrollment cycle, including communications, system updates, and plan changes
  • Coordinate and facilitate benefits sessions for new hires and employees
  • Serve as a resource for employee benefit inquiries and issue resolution across health, dental, life, and savings plans
  • Assist in administering leave of absence and workers’ compensation programs, including tracking and coordination
  • Prepare and support required compliance filings and documentation related to benefits programs
  • Develop and maintain benefits-related communications, materials, and resources
  • Generate and analyze benefits data and reports for internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Support COBRA administration and ensure accurate processing within HR systems
  • Maintain accurate benefits records and assist with process improvements
  • Analyze benefits and leave data to support compliance, reporting, and decision-making

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong knowledge of benefits-related regulations (e.g., ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA)
  • Experience supporting leave and disability programs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across teams and organizational levels
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
