Project Manager – Utility-Scale Solar Construction

Role Overview
The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of utility-scale solar and electrical infrastructure projects, overseeing safety, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction from handover through construction and warranty.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full project lifecycle including planning, execution, and closeout
- Oversee budgets, schedules, forecasting, and cost control
- Review contracts, manage change orders, and ensure delivery of contractual obligations
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Track materials, equipment, and project milestones to avoid delays
- Identify and mitigate project risks while promoting a strong safety culture
- Lead client communication and project reporting
Requirements
- 3\+ years of project management experience in solar, electrical, or infrastructure construction
- Strong understanding of project delivery, budgeting, scheduling, and contracts
- Experience with tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and industry codes (NEC, OSHA)
- Strong communication and organizational skills; willingness to travel
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Construction Management, or similar)
- PMP/CAPM or similar certifications
- Experience with AC/DC systems and substations
