Senior Java Software Engineer

talented and experienced Java Developer

to join our rapidly growing team.

You’ll work on exciting, high‑impact programmes, using modern engineering and architectural principles to design and build innovative solutions for a wide range of clients. Working within

mature, cross‑functional teams

, you’ll help drive digital transformation and shape the future of services across the UK.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop and maintain

high‑quality Java applications

• Contribute across the

full software development lifecycle

• Build and secure

RESTful APIs

using

Spring Boot / Spring MVC

• Collaborate with engineers, architects and stakeholders
• Support live services and resolve complex production issues
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience with

Java

(Kotlin/Scala a bonus)

• Solid understanding of

OOP, SOLID principles and design patterns

• Experience with

Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines

• Exposure to

cloud platforms

(AWS, Azure or GCP)

• A passion for innovation and delivering high‑quality solutions

Nice to have

• Kafka, SQS, Serverless (Lambda)
• Monitoring \& logging tools (ELK, Dynatrace, Splunk)
• JPA/Hibernate, Swagger/OpenAPI, automated testing
• Mentoring experience
