About the Role

At IDRE, we don't just want a tester; we want a

Software Engineering Automation Test (SEAT) Engineer

. This is a high-impact, hybrid role for someone with a software engineering mindset who is passionate about building robust, automated quality systems.

You will be the

first dedicated QA in the IDRE team

, responsible for architecting the E2E infrastructure from the ground up and ensuring the reliability of a platform that handles critical healthcare data.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect Automation:

Design and implement a scalable End-to-End (E2E) testing framework from scratch using

Playwright

• Infrastructure:

Integrate automated test suites into

CI/CD pipelines

(GitHub Actions, etc.) to ensure zero-regression deployments

• Deep-Dive Debugging:

Use

Browser DevTools

and

Postman

to perform root-cause analysis on complex platform issues

• Code Collaboration:

Work within a

Node.js/Next.js

environment, reading and understanding application code to ensure maximum test coverage and helping with platform fixes when needed

• Quality Leadership:

Transition the team from manual oversight to a sophisticated, automated quality culture

Requirements

• 5\+ years

of experience in QA Automation or Software Engineering

• Expertise in Playwright

(highly preferred) or Cypress

• Strong coding skills in Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.

You should feel comfortable navigating a developer’s codebase

• Advanced proficiency with

Postman

for API testing and automation

• Hands-on experience with

CI/CD workflows

• English Fluency:

Excellent communication skills are required for our global technical environment

• Proactive Mindset:

Ability to take ownership as the first QA and build processes where none exist

Compensation \& Benefits

$4,500 - $6,000 USD (Based on experience and technical fit)
