What You Will Do
The L\&D Trainer is an avid learner, curious thinker, creative problem solver, and passionate educator. This individual enjoys inspiring and teaching others while understanding the importance of connecting the
“why” behind a process with the “how” of executing it successfully.
A significant focus of this position will be
systems and applications training
. The L\&D Trainer will help team members build the knowledge, confidence, and proficiency needed to effectively use RADCO’s business systems, technology platforms, and applications. This includes translating system functionality and business processes into engaging, practical learning experiences that team members can immediately apply in their roles.
Working closely with the L\&D Manager, operational leaders, and subject-matter experts, the L\&D Trainer will design, develop, and facilitate blended learning experiences that support both employee development and business performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong multifamily background, understand property operations, and be comfortable learning and teaching technology. They will be equally comfortable facilitating a classroom, developing a training resource, demonstrating a software application, or coaching a team member through a new system or process. This individual will facilitate in-person training approximately two full weeks per month, including new hire orientation, onboarding, systems training, application training, and role-specific operational training.

Role \& Responsibilities
Systems \& Applications Training
- Serve as a training resource and subject-matter expert for RADCO’s business systems and technology platforms.
- Design and deliver engaging, hands-on training that builds team member proficiency and confidence with business applications.
- Develop system training for new hires, existing team members, and teams impacted by new technology, system enhancements, or process changes.
- Translate complex system functionality into simple, practical, user-friendly learning experiences.
- Create and maintain system training materials, job aids, reference guides, videos, and other learning resources.
- Partner with system owners, operational leaders, and subject-matter experts to ensure training reflects current systems, processes, and business needs.
- Support the successful implementation and adoption of new systems, applications, and technology initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve system utilization, consistency, efficiency, and user experience through training and reinforcement.
- Provide ongoing coaching, reinforcement, and support to team members as they learn and adopt new systems.
- Stay current on RADCO’s business systems and platforms and proactively identify training opportunities and knowledge gaps.
Learning \& Development
- Conduct needs assessments to identify learning gaps and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate in-person classroom training approximately two weeks per month, including new hire orientation, onboarding, systems training, company culture, benefits, policies and procedures, and role-specific operational training.
- Deliver high-quality training through multiple platforms, including in-person and virtual classrooms; occasional travel is required.
- Develop and implement learning strategies that support business objectives, including new system implementations, process changes, communication planning, and change management.
- Contribute to the administration and ongoing maintenance of the LMS and develop or update learning courses based on business needs.
- Provide instructional design, content development, facilitation, and strategic support for new and existing learning programs.
- Manage and continuously improve required training programs, professional development initiatives, and supplemental learning opportunities.
- Recommend and oversee LMS modifications and additions based on field observations, learner feedback, and performance data.
- Manage existing learning tools, resources, and online content to ensure learners receive high-impact learning experiences.
- Liaise with RADCO stakeholders to assess, report, and respond to progress, challenges, and opportunities related to learning strategies.
- Effectively communicate learning initiatives and system changes to promote understanding, adoption, and ongoing support.
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and engaging learning environment.
- Stay current on industry trends and learning best practices while identifying opportunities to improve performance, engagement, and business results.
- Attend team member events and new hire onboarding meetings to promote and reinforce the RADCO culture.
Skills \& Requirements
- 3\+ years of multifamily/property management experience.
- Experience facilitating classroom-style training and/or employee development programs.
- Demonstrated experience training others on software, business applications, technology platforms, or operational systems.
- Yardi and/or CRM experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of multifamily operations and the ability to connect technology and systems to real-world business processes.
- Comfortable learning new technology quickly and teaching others how to use it effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident public speaker and presenter with the ability to engage both small and large audiences, in-person and virtually.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly PowerPoint.
- Strong instructional, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize competing responsibilities, and manage time effectively.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, approachable, and genuinely enjoys working with people.
- Ability to travel up to 25–50% of the time, both locally and nationally.
