Chief Information Officer

We are partnering with a global medical technology company to hire a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead and mature enterprise IT capabilities during a critical phase of growth and transformation. This is a high‑impact executive role for a pragmatic, business‑first technology leader who can balance operational excellence, regulatory rigor, and enterprise enablement—while helping define what “scale‑ready IT” looks like in a growing, regulated environment.

THE ROLE

• Lead the global IT organization, overseeing core operations, enterprise systems, and long‑term technology strategy
• Serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership, aligning IT priorities to business objectives
• Stabilize, scale, and mature foundational IT capabilities while maintaining reliability, security, and compliance
• Provide senior oversight of ERP operations and early‑stage ERP transformation
• Strengthen enterprise architecture, integration, data, and reporting capabilities
• Act as a clear translator between technology and the business, enabling sound executive decision‑making

SCOPE \& RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead a global IT team with \~15–20 direct reports, including teams based internationally
• Oversight across:
• ERP operations and transformation
• Infrastructure and data centers
• Enterprise applications and CRM
• Business systems, BI, and project management
• Information security (partnering closely with a dedicated cybersecurity leader)
• Own executive‑level vendor relationships and governance for critical platforms and partners
• Manage IT budgets, investment prioritization, and cost optimization

IDEAL BACKGROUND

• 15\+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including executive‑level responsibility
• Proven success building and maturing IT capabilities in regulated environments (medical device, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, or similar)
• Strong ERP leadership experience; SAP and enterprise‑scale transformations strongly preferred
• Deep understanding of enterprise IT operations, cybersecurity, compliance, and vendor management
• Experience leading globally distributed teams and complex partner ecosystems
