Role Description
The Digital Designer \& Content Coordinator will support the organization’s growing educational resource, design, and digital communication needs. This role combines graphic design, educational resource production, limited social media support, and digital content coordination to help strengthen audience engagement and brand consistency. This part-time hybrid role reports to the Marketing Manager and is based in Winnetka, IL with one in-office day per week. The hourly rate starts at $25/hr and will be based on experience.

Responsibilities
Graphic Design \+ Educational Resource Production (50%)
- Design educational PDFs, classroom resources, presentations, and marketing materials
- Support visual consistency across print and digital materials
- Maintain and organize Canva templates and branded design systems
- Support annual report, fundraising, and campaign-related design projects
- Work closely with Director of Program Operations to ensure designs meet accessibility guidelines
Digital Content Support (35%)
- Support website and HubSpot content updates as needed
- Help strengthen visual storytelling and audience engagement across digital channels
Social Media Support (15%)
- Leverage AI for social media content creation, coordination, scheduling, and publishing
- Create social media graphics and digital content assets
Experience/Qualifications
- 3\+ years of professional graphic design and/or digital marketing experience preferred
- Expert proficiency in Canva required
- Experience supporting organizational social media accounts preferred
- HubSpot experience preferred
- Strong visual design, organization, and communication skills
- Dependability, good time management and organizational skills, and attentiveness to detail
- An innovative mindset that is continuously seeking creative solutions
- Ability to work strategically within a team structure as well as independently
- Experience working within nonprofit, education, or mission-driven organizations preferred
- At least one day a week in our offices based in Winnetka, IL. The remainder is flexible. Your work schedule must be consistent and fall within the core hours of operation (10am-2pm).
