senior, hands
‑
on role
that combines legal expertise, commercial judgement, and negotiation leadership. The role carries clear decision authority and is central to enabling Aurigo’s federal and enterprise business at scale.

Key Responsibilities
Federal \& Enterprise Contract Ownership
- Lead and conclude negotiations for
US federal, state, and large enterprise customer contracts
- Own MSAs, SOWs, amendments, renewals, and non‑standard deal structures
- Serve as the primary legal authority in customer negotiations
Contract Architecture \& Governance
- Build and maintain structured contract frameworks across:
- Federal / Public Sector
- Enterprise Commercial
- Standard / scaled offerings
- Ensure contracts are commercially balanced, legally sound, and aligned to customer type and deal complexity
Business Partnership
- Act as a trusted partner to Sales, Finance, and GTM leadership
- Provide clear, pragmatic guidance that enables deal progression while managing risk
- Support predictable and efficient deal execution for enterprise and government customers
Team \& Capability Leadership
- Provide senior leadership and mentorship within the contracts function
- Establish negotiation playbooks and internal guidance
- Manage external counsel selectively for specialised or non‑routine matters
Experience \& Profile
Required
- 10\+ years of experience in
enterprise software contracting
- Direct, hands‑on experience negotiating
US federal and/or state government contracts
- Strong working knowledge of SaaS agreements, public‑sector procurement, and US contract law
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex customer negotiations
Preferred
- In‑house legal experience in a government‑facing or enterprise software company
- Experience building scalable contracting frameworks
- Strong commercial judgement and stakeholder influence
Education
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Law or a relevant field from a recognised Top-30 institution, with strong grounding in US contract law

- Scalable, well‑adopted contract frameworks across customer segments
- Strong credibility with Sales and Finance as a negotiation leader
- Reduced dependency on executive escalation for complex contracts
