Artificial Intelligence Engineer

We are seeking an experienced AI Developer to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade artificial intelligence solutions that drive operational efficiency, automation, and data-driven decision-making. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, software developers, and leadership teams to implement AI and machine learning solutions within highly regulated environments.

The ideal candidate will have experience in either the Banking/Financial Services or Healthcare industry and a strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, Generative AI, machine learning, and cloud-based AI platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions that solve complex business challenges.
• Build and optimize Generative AI applications utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or open-source models.
• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using structured and unstructured enterprise data.
• Create AI-powered applications, chatbots, copilots, intelligent search solutions, and workflow automation tools.
• Integrate AI solutions with existing enterprise systems, databases, APIs, EMR/EHR platforms, banking platforms, CRM systems, and data warehouses.
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for AI adoption and process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including HIPAA, HITECH, PCI-DSS, SOX, GLBA, and data privacy standards.
• Develop and maintain AI governance, monitoring, security, and model performance frameworks.
• Partner with Data Engineering teams to establish scalable AI pipelines and data architectures.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend strategic adoption opportunities.
• Document technical solutions, architecture designs, and implementation best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 4\+ years of software development experience.
• 2\+ years of hands-on AI/ML development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, or similar technologies.
• Experience developing and deploying Generative AI applications in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, vector databases, embeddings, and RAG architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms including Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, or similar.
• Experience building REST APIs and integrating AI solutions into enterprise applications.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Understanding of AI security, governance, and responsible AI practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, Health Systems, Insurance, or Life Sciences environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of FHIR, HL7, Epic, Cerner, Core Banking Systems, Loan Origination Systems, Payment Platforms, or Financial Data Warehouses.
• Experience implementing AI solutions in regulated industries.
• Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms and modern data architectures.
