Qualiphy is a nationwide telemedicine platform that streamlines compliant medical consultations, prescription approvals, and medication delivery for clinics, medspas, and healthcare providers across 48 states and DC. Our asynchronous and synchronous Good Faith Exam (GFE) system connects patients to state-licensed providers in real time, seven days a week, with no scheduling needed. Patients access services through an easy-to-use, secure “Quidget” exam widget embedded on clinic websites. Qualiphy manages medical reviews, documentation, pharmacy coordination, shipping, as well as integrated billing and reporting tools for seamless operations. We serve diverse healthcare needs, including cosmetic, wellness, and prescription-based services, while ensuring compliance and satisfaction through advanced clinical protocols and automation.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Beverly Hills, CA. The Head of Engineering will oversee the engineering team to develop and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient software platforms. Responsibilities include leading and managing engineering teams, overseeing project timelines, designing and implementing technical architecture, and collaborating with product and stakeholder teams to deliver innovative telemedicine solutions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving technical strategy and ensuring the reliability and performance of Qualiphy’s platform.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Team Management, Team Leadership, and fostering team collaboration and motivation.
  • Strong background in Engineering Management and Project Management with a track record of delivering technical projects on time and within scope.
  • Expertise in Software Development, including knowledge of coding best practices, scalable architecture design, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with telemedicine or healthcare technology is a significant advantage.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and align technical direction with business goals.
