Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Biomedical Technician, you will be a specialized expert, ensuring the optimal performance and safety of critical medical instrumentation.

Every day, you will perform preventive maintenance on complex medical devices, manage installations, and execute all related repairs and maintenance under the Biomedical Program Manager's supervision.

To be successful in this role, you will apply strong technical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills to support our healthcare operations.

  • Services, adjusts, repairs and replaces Bio-medical equipment.
  • Performs and maintains records of preventative maintenance, repairs and calibrations.
  • Inspects and tests for safety of all new bio medical equipment.
  • Act as service technician for equipment manufacturers or their sales representative.
  • Performs scheduled inspections, maintenance and electrical safety tests of biomedical equipment to maintain code compliance. Responsible for documenting the results of all inspections, maintenance and tests.
  • Orders supplies according to established procedures.
  • Adhere to safety requirements as established applicable policies and procedures and as set forth in the Environment of Care plans.
  • Perform job duties in a safe manner following all established methods.
  • Job Requirements*Required
  • High School Graduate/General Studies and 1 year experience in the BiomedicalEquipment or technical troubleshooting related field, upon hire or
  • High School GED/General Studies and 1 year experience in the BiomedicalEquipment or technical troubleshooting related field, upon hire

Preferred

  • CompTIA A\+ Certification, upon hire

Pay Range

$38\.79 - $48\.75 /hour
