You will have the opportunity to work with management on budgets, create and implement policies and procedures, work cross-functionally with partners across the brand, track metrics, and oversee the seasonal calendars and creative style guides.

Responsibilities

  • Working with and support Director of Creative Services to recommend and carry forward all new process and procedures for shot list, digital tech guidelines, calendar, milestones, and providing analytics to leadership
  • Ensuring the studio team is following and adhering to the style guide as well as recommendations for improvements on look/feel as the brand evolves and changes.
  • Partner with Director of Creative Services to maintain, develop, and evolve process to streamline workflow and introduce AI tools
  • Work with Creative Director of Digital Production and Color Manager to align on process, procedures and workflow between photo studio and color room
  • Partner with the AI Creative Manager to establish best practices for shooting products to support AI post-production, including product angles, lighting, consistency, and asset requirements
  • Coordinate with Creative Directors and AI Manager on AI dedicated shoot weeks.
  • Working and/or advanced knowledge of Airtable and its functionality (interfaces, automations, data layer functionality, and AI capabilities within the base)
  • Serve as the traffic manager between creative, photo production, and merchandising for all the incoming shot requests, approvals, and reprioritizations
  • Have a creative eye and work with Creative Director to help keep the team align with creative direction and execution of the style guide
  • Establish and manage a seasonal budget including reporting for MEC
  • Work to develop and evolve process efficiencies to automate daily/weekly tasks
  • Manage metrics for estimated time and shots for each season completed shots throughout the shoot and calculating the cost per shot by category
  • Develop and manage direct reports to meet and exceed creative and business needs
  • Manage scheduling and budgets of freelance talent

Criteria

  • Previous photo studio management experience
  • Previous people management experience
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional partners
  • Worked with in-house content management systems and knowledge of ecommerce
  • Ability to perform work onsite in the Richmond, CA Photo Studio 5 days a week

The expected starting pay range for this position is $110,000-130,000\. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
