Full-Stack Engineer (AI / Defense)
Compensation:
$150,000 – $230,000 \+ 0\.1% – 0\.5% Equity

About the Role:
We’re working with a
fast-growing defense and AI startup
building the infrastructure layer for how governments buy technology. Their platform uses AI and large language models to analyze procurement data and help companies identify and win government contracts more efficiently.
The company already has strong traction with
Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and defense organizations.
They are now hiring
Full Stack Engineers
to help scale the platform. You’ll work on transforming massive government datasets into actionable insights and building the interfaces customers use to identify and win opportunities.
What You’ll Do:
- Build full-stack product features that help customers discover and interpret government procurement opportunities
- Develop scalable
data pipelines
that transform large public datasets into usable product insights
- Design intuitive user interfaces using
React and Next.js
- Build backend services and data infrastructure using
Python
- Develop
AI-powered features and agents using LLMs
- Collaborate directly with users to understand workflows and improve how data is surfaced in the product
- Ship production-ready code quickly and iterate based on real customer feedback
You’ll Thrive Here If You:
- Have
1–5 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer
- Have experience shipping
production full-stack products used by real customers
- Are comfortable working with
React, Next.js, and Python
- Have experience building or integrating
AI features, LLMs, or AI agents
- Enjoy working in
fast-paced startup environments
where engineers ship quickly
- Are excited about building products that support
mission-critical defense and national security problems
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience as a
technical founder or early startup engineer
- Background working on
AI products or high-growth tech startups
- Experience as a
Forward Deployed Engineer
- Active GitHub contributions, hackathons, or personal projects
