Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Licensed Electrician position located in Rutland, VT. The Licensed Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and testing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and small business settings. Tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, troubleshooting electrical issues, and collaborating with team members and customers to deliver high-quality service. Adherence to safety protocols and providing excellent customer service are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical installation, repair, and maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes and safety standards
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid electrician’s license in the state of Vermont or the ability to obtain one
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training in electrical systems is a plus
• Physical ability to perform hands-on work, including lifting and climbing as needed
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
