Position 1: Sr Embedded Platform Engineer

Location: Irvine CA (100% Onsite)

Visa: USC/GC

Note: Platform engineer should be low level can develop drivers and has developed them in past.

Key Skills:

  • Embedded C/C\+\+, Bare Metal
  • RTOS (FreeRTOS, VxWorks, ThreadX)
  • Driver Development, BSP, Middleware
  • Board Bring-Up, JTAG, Lauterbach, Trace32
  • Firmware Debugging, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer
  • TI C2000, NXP, STM32, Aurix
  • CAN, SPI, Ethernet
  • Motor Control, FOC, Power Electronics, Actuator Control, Motor Drives
  • HIL Testing, Hardware Bring-Up, Low-Level Debugging

Required Qualifications

  • 5\+ years of experience developing embedded firmware for complex real-time systems
  • Strong proficiency in embedded C/C\+\+ and real-time firmware architecture
  • Experience with real-time microcontroller platforms such as TI C2000, NXP, or comparable
  • safety-oriented MCUs
  • Strong understanding of MCU peripherals, interrupts, timers, watchdogs, memory, clocks,
  • ADC, PWM, GPIO, and communication interfaces
  • Hands-on experience with communication protocols such as CAN, CAN derivatives, SPI,
  • Ethernet
  • Proven ability to integrate and debug software across hardware, firmware, and system
  • boundaries
  • Experience supporting hardware bring-up, lab validation, and HIL testing
  • Strong analytical skills and low-level debugging ability

Preferred / Bonus Experience

  • Experience with TI C2000, NXP, or similar real-time control microcontrollers
  • Prior work on safety-critical or regulated systems: aerospace, automotive, industrial
  • Experience developing reusable BSPs, drivers, middleware, and embedded software frameworks
  • Background supporting motor drives, BMS, power electronics, sensors, or vehicle control systems
  • Experience supporting production launch, field issues, and long-term platform maintainability

Position 2: Sr Embedded Systems Software Engineer

Location: Irvine CA (100% Onsite)

Note

: Embedded System software engineer - should be able to architect, design and implement application layer. If this person has similar experience, Medical Device/Automotive/Avionics/Robotics/Rail/Industrial Automation. This is not a web based design, motor control, or only a BMS control engineer – it is an overall system engineer.

  • MATLAB/Simulink
  • Real-Time Software Architecture

Required Qualifications

  • Experience designing system-level control logic, state machines, and sequencing
  • Hands-on experience with communication protocols such as CAN (and derivatives), SPI,
  • Ethernet
  • Experience with model-based design tools (MATLAB/Simulink)
  • Proven ability to integrate and debug software across hardware, firmware, and system
  • boundaries
  • Strong analytical skills and system-level problem-solving ability.

Preferred / Bonus Experience
