About Marketing Done Right

We are a digital marketing agency entering our ninth year. We provide SEO, AEO, GEO, Google Ads, and web development services to clients primarily in the medical, home services, legal, and B2B industries. Our team is fully remote. We do not hold clients to contracts. Every relationship we have is earned month to month.

Our clients come to us after working with agencies that overpromised, underdelivered, and communicated poorly. Our job is to be the opposite of that. That standard requires an Account Manager who takes it personally when a client is confused or unsupported.

The Role

You are the primary point of contact between our clients and our internal team. You are not just a messenger. You understand what good SEO and paid search performance looks like, you can read a campaign and know whether the work is moving the needle, and you hold our delivery team accountable to the same standard you hold yourself to.

Our clients range from single-location practices to multi-clinic organizations to national franchise systems. Some need bi-weekly calls and detailed reporting. Others need a steady hand and monthly check-ins. You read the room and adjust accordingly.

This role reports to the CEO and Operator.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a defined book of assigned clients across SEO, Google Ads, and digital marketing services
  • Lead client calls with confidence, providing clear context on campaign performance, strategy rationale, and next steps without defaulting to "I'll find out and get back to you"
  • Review campaign performance proactively and surface problems before clients do
  • Hold SEO strategists and Google Ads managers accountable to client deliverables and flag delivery gaps through proper internal channels
  • Manage client onboarding during the first 30 to 60 days, setting expectations clearly and building trust early
  • Maintain accurate task statuses and client communication logs in Asana within 24 hours
  • Identify upsell and upgrade opportunities where additional services genuinely serve the client's growth
  • Relay website, design, and content feedback between clients and internal teams
  • Contribute to process improvements that make the client experience more consistent

What We Are Looking For

  • 3 or more years of account management experience at a digital marketing agency
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and Google Ads is sufficient to hold a substantive conversation with a client about what is working and why
  • Strong communicator who gives clients direct answers and owns the conversation rather than deflecting
  • Comfortable managing multiple clients and priorities simultaneously without losing the details
  • Proficient in Asana and Slack or equivalent project management and communication tools
  • Professional, approachable, and able to represent MDR's standards without supervision
  • Able to work independently in a fully remote environment

Compensation and Structure

  • $75,000 base salary (1099)
  • Bonus of $500 to $5,000 per client service upgrade (Based on Upgrade Amount)

  • Flexible schedule with availability during regular business hours for client calls
  • Full week between Christmas and New Year's paid
  • PTO: 12 days in year one, 15 Days after year two
  • Most bank holidays off

Training and Transition

You will shadow existing client relationships and work directly with our owner during your first 60 to 90 days before taking full ownership of your account load. Existing client context and history will be provided. You are not starting from scratch.
