Position Overview

A leading retail company in the Shephelah region is looking for an experienced

Information Systems Manager (CIO)

to lead its IT, digital transformation, and technology initiatives.

This role is responsible for managing the organization's information systems, leading cross-functional technology projects, driving digital innovation, and identifying opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve business processes, operational efficiency, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the organization's IT strategy and day-to-day operations.
  • Manage the IT team, external vendors, and technology service providers.
  • Lead end-to-end technology projects, from planning and implementation to ongoing support.
  • Oversee core business systems, including ERP, CRM, POS, BI, and other enterprise applications.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement AI-driven solutions to automate processes, improve productivity, and create business value.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and deliver technology solutions.
  • Manage IT infrastructure, cloud environments, cybersecurity, networking, backup, and business continuity.
  • Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, procurement, and licensing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in Information Systems, IT Management, or a similar leadership role.
  • Experience managing IT teams and external vendors.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-wide technology projects.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and CRM systems.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, networking, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong practical experience with Artificial Intelligence technologies and enterprise AI adoption - Mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience with AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, and workflow automation tools such as Power Automate, Make, n8n, or Zapier.
  • Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and implement innovative solutions.
  • Fluent Hebrew and good English communication skills.

  • Experience with Priority ERP, SAP Business One, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience implementing BI and data analytics solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Copilot.
