We're working with an exciting and fast-growing FinTech company building a next-generation platform that helps financial institutions price, monitor and analyse complex investment products in real time.

As the business continues to grow, they're looking for a

Junior Full Stack Developer

to join their engineering team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career software engineer looking to accelerate their development whilst working alongside experienced engineers on a modern cloud-native platform.

The Role

You'll be working across the full software development lifecycle, contributing to both backend services and frontend applications while learning from an experienced engineering team.

This is a genuine growth opportunity where you'll gain hands-on experience building scalable software using modern technologies and best engineering practices.

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing new features using

TypeScript, Node.js, React and Next.js

.

• Building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Working with SQL databases and cloud-hosted applications.
• Supporting the development of scalable backend services.
• Collaborating with senior engineers on technical design and implementation.
• Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
• Participating in code reviews and Agile ceremonies.
• Learning modern cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines and software engineering best practices.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Commercial experience (or a placement/internship) using

TypeScript

.

• Experience with

React

.

• Exposure to

Node.js

and REST APIs.

• Understanding of SQL databases.
• Experience using Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a genuine passion for software engineering.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Nice to Have

• Next.js
• Express.js or NestJS
• AWS or other cloud platforms
• Docker
• CI/CD pipelines
• Personal projects or an active GitHub portfolio
