Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven

Assistant Manager, Compensation \& Benefit

to support the execution of strategic rewards initiatives within the automotive sector. This role is responsible for assisting in the development and administration of total rewards packages to ensure they remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with our organizational growth objectives.

Job description:

  • Compensation Strategy and Market Benchmarking:

Develop and execute competitive salary structures and incentive programs specifically aligned with automotive industry standards. You will conduct annual market benchmarking and pay analyses to ensure salary scales remain equitable and competitive while providing strategic recommendations to leadership on sector trends.

  • Benefits Program Management:

Design and oversee comprehensive benefits programs, including health, insurance, and retirement plans. This includes enhancing offerings to meet employee needs and managing vendor contracts to ensure cost-effective administration.

  • Compliance and Policy Governance:

Ensure all compensation and benefits practices strictly comply with labor laws and industry regulations. You will develop transparent pay policies and conduct regular audits to maintain process integrity.

  • Stakeholder Management:

Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on all compensation and benefits matters. You will collaborate with HR and management to align reward strategies with organizational goals and lead the effective communication of changes to the wider employee base.

  • Data Analytics and Reporting:

Utilize HRIS and data analytics to provide actionable insights into workforce compensation trends and reward program ROI. You will be responsible for preparing high-level dashboards and identifying cost-saving opportunities through rigorous data analysis.

  • Rewards and Recognition:

Create and implement innovative recognition programs across all levels of the organization. You will align these programs with key performance metrics such as quality, safety, and productivity, while continuously evaluating their effectiveness for improvement.

Job requirements:

  • Education:

Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience:

7 to 10 years of total work experience, with 4 to 6 years specifically focused on compensation, benefits, and rewards management.

  • Technical Skills:

Proficiency in HRIS systems, compensation tools, and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint).

  • Expertise:

Deep understanding of local labor laws and modern compensation practices.

  • Leadership:

Proven project and team management skills with experience in a leadership capacity.

  • Soft Skills:

Strong analytical abilities, exceptional communication for stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.
