User Experience Designer

UI/UX Designer (Consumer Web Platform)

We’re looking for an experienced

UI/UX Designer

to help design and improve a consumer-facing web portal. In this role, you’ll work closely with product managers and engineers to create simple, intuitive experiences for users.

What You’ll Do

• Design clean, responsive web interfaces from early concepts and wireframes through final production designs.
• Work with product and engineering teams to turn business requirements into user-friendly experiences.
• Lead the full UX process: user research, journey mapping, prototyping, usability testing, and improvements.
• Help build and maintain a

design system and reusable components

for consistency across the platform.

• Use user behavior data (heatmaps, session recordings, analytics) to identify problems and improve the user experience.
• Ensure designs meet

accessibility standards (WCAG 2\.1 AA)

• Stay current with modern UX trends and front-end design practices.

Required Experience

• 8\+ years of UI/UX design experience

, ideally with consumer-facing web products.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating shipped products and user-centered design work.
• Experience with design tools such as

Figma (preferred), Sketch, or Adobe XD

.

• Ability to turn

large or complex data into clear, easy-to-understand user insights

.

• Experience conducting

user research, usability testing, and A/B testing

.

• Strong understanding of

responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

.

• Experience working with

design systems or component libraries

.

• Strong visual design skills (typography, color, layout, spacing).
• Ability to clearly explain and present design decisions.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing products that work with

healthcare data or HIPAA requirements

.

• Experience with analytics and testing tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, Optimizely, LaunchDarkly).
• Knowledge of animations or motion design (Framer Motion, GSAP).
• Experience working in

Agile/Scrum teams
