Assistant Research Scientist I

Objectives of the position:

Analytical testing \& characterization of chemical compounds

Representative Main tasks:

• Conduct analytical testing and characterization of chemical compounds/materials
• Performing qualitative \& quantitative analysis using techniques like UPLC, GC
• Performing GCMS \& LCMS analysis
• Supporting R\&D projects with data generation, interpretation with high accuracy \& precision
• Maintaining and calibrating instruments to ensure optimal performance
• UpToDate documentation (e.g., ELN writing; periodic report submissions, presentations)
• Preparing SOPs in consultation with sr. chemist/reporting manager
• Effective collaboration with stakeholders e.g., APR/P chemists, management, suppliers
• Maintaining project related inventories as per requirements
• Following all BASF safety norms/ work practices defined by management from time to time
• Performing assigned team-wide tasks/responsibilities

Education \& Qualification:

• Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Analytical chemistry
