About the Role:
The Senior Art Director is a hybrid creative lead responsible for merging artistic vision with technical execution. This role requires a high-capacity ideator who can manage rapid production cycles while ensuring all work is strategically aligned with cultural trends and brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creative Leadership \& Execution:
Direct the end-to-end production of high-volume creative assets, ensuring seamless integration of art, copy, and editorial techniques.
- Strategic Brand Stewardship:
Oversee brand aesthetics and style guides, aligning creative vision with cultural trends, social best practices, and client business objectives.
- Team Mentorship \& Quality Control:
Supervise junior staff and provide actionable feedback to optimize team output and foster professional development.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with internal disciplines to lead campaign initiatives, high-priority brainstorms, and new business pitches.
- Innovation \& Process Development:
Drive agency-wide creative methodologies by exploring emerging technologies and leading strategic content workshops.
Qualifications:
- 7\+ years of experience in advertising or creative media within the Australian market.
- Proficiency in creating and manipulating diverse content types including video, photography, social copy, GIFs, and streaming stories.
- Advanced technical experience with AI-driven creative platforms and motion editing tools.
- Proven ability to deliver high-tier results with minimal oversight under tight deadlines.
- Strong background in collaborating with cross-functional strategy and creative teams.
