About the Role

We are looking for an experienced

Senior iOS Software Development Engineer

to join a mobile product development team focused on building and evolving large-scale consumer applications within the connected home and security space.

You will work as part of a cross-functional engineering team developing new mobile experiences while helping shape the architecture and engineering standards of the iOS platform.

What You'll Do

● Develop and deliver customer-facing iOS features using Swift and SwiftUI

● Design and evolve mobile application architecture for scalability, maintainability, and performance

● Build reusable components and identify opportunities to share capabilities across mobile applications

● Collaborate closely with Android, cloud, product, UX, and other engineering teams

● Participate in architectural and technical decisions affecting the mobile platform

● Build and support AI-powered features and intelligent customer experiences

● Continuously improve code quality, application reliability, automated testing, and performance

● Help establish mobile engineering standards and development best practices across teams

● Lead technical initiatives and provide technical guidance to other engineers

● Design and implement Agentic AI workflows that support software development activities such as requirements gathering, coding, testing, bug triage, and code review

● Explore multi-agent development environments where AI agents can coordinate, understand technical dependencies, and participate throughout the software delivery lifecycle

● Identify opportunities where AI-powered engineering workflows can reduce repetitive work, detect defects earlier, and accelerate software delivery

What You'll Work On

This team builds and operates large-scale consumer mobile applications used by millions of customers. Engineers regularly develop new customer-facing functionality while solving the architectural challenges associated with maintaining highly available, cloud-connected applications.

You'll have the opportunity to influence mobile architecture and development standards while helping define how AI and autonomous agents can be incorporated into the software development lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications

● 5\+ years of professional, non-internship software development experience

● Professional experience developing native iOS applications

● Strong programming experience with Swift

● Experience building production applications using SwiftUI

● Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining production mobile applications

● Experience with mobile application architecture and system design

Preferred Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

● Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including:

○ Coding standards and best practices

○ Code reviews

○ Source control management

○ Build and deployment processes

○ Automated testing

○ Production operations

● Experience designing or owning architecture for large-scale iOS applications

● Experience leading technical initiatives and influencing engineering direction across teams

● Experience with cloud-connected mobile applications and REST APIs

● Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated unit and integration testing

● Experience building or implementing

Agentic AI systems or workflows

● Experience with

multi-agent environments, agent orchestration, or agent-to-agent communication

● Experience applying AI to software development workflows such as code generation, testing, bug triage, code review, or requirements gathering

● Strong understanding of application dependencies and how AI agents can interact with complex software architectures

● Experience building consumer-facing applications at significant scale
