Acoustic Test Engineer (Audio Measurement & HATS Lab)

We are hiring a hands-on Acoustic Test Engineer to join our audio design team working on cutting-edge consumer electronics and IoT products. If you love measuring, breaking, and improving real-world audio systems - this is your role!

You'll own acoustic validation and measurement across the product lifecycle, partnering with HW, SW, and UX teams to turn lab data into better sound experiences.

What You'll Do

• Run acoustic and audio measurements (frequency response, distortion, impedance, transfer functions)
• Execute testing with HATS systems in anechoic and reverberant chambers
• Evaluate speech quality, intelligibility, DSP performance, SNR, and user audio experience
• Design and refine test methods, procedures, and automation
• Analyze, organize,e and present data to drive product decisions
• Prototype and evaluate new audio technologies
• Maintain and improve lab infrastructure and measurement setups
• Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, software, and UX teams

What You Bring

• 3\+ years of hands-on audio-acoustic testing experience
• Strong experience with:

+ HATS  measurement microphones

+ Tools like Audio Precision, Head Acoustics (ACQUA) or Listen SoundCheck

• Deep understanding of audio hardware testing \+ lab workflows
• Ability to write and execute structured test plans
• Experience analyzing and communicating measurement data
• Bonus Points:

+ Experience with Klippel, Polytec, Keyence (laser displacement)

+ Scripting in Python or MATLAB

+ Background or interest in psychoacoustics / hearing science

+ Strong critical listening skills
