Summary
Our client is seeking a Business Process Analyst III to analyze, design, and improve moderately complex to complex business processes and supporting technology solutions. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders and Digital \& Information Technology teams to ensure business requirements are clearly defined, solutions align with enterprise standards, and technology investments deliver measurable business value.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, document, and optimize moderately complex to complex business processes and workflows.
- Elicit, define, and document business and functional requirements through research, workshops, interviews, and process analysis.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements for system enhancements, custom development, or packaged software solutions.
- Support application and solution development activities including requirements definition, design reviews, testing, and production support.
- Collaborate with business subject matter experts to assess current-state processes and define future-state solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 4-6 years of experience in business process analysis, business systems analysis, or related role.
- Demonstrated experience gathering and documenting business requirements and supporting system or process improvements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Experience supporting business process improvement initiatives enabled by information technology.
- Experience with requirements management, process modeling, and systems analysis methodologies.
- Familiarity with enterprise document management, workflow, or process management platforms.
- Business analysis or process improvement certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, Lean, Six Sigma).
This is a 6-Month\+ Contract opportunity with eventual conversion with our Overland Park, KS client.
