Contracted Telehealth Provider - CA LICENSED Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Psychiatrist (MD/DO)

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are recruiting licensed Nurse Practitioners and Psychiatrists to join the Kaizen Health contractor network. This is an ideal opportunity for clinicians who want full clinical autonomy without the administrative burden of running a practice.

As a Kaizen contractor, we handle everything except the clinical work:

• Psychology Today profile creation \& optimization
• Zocdoc profile setup \& calendar sync
• All directory listings and ongoing profile SEO
• Client intake, scheduling, and appointment reminders
• Profile conversion optimization and marketing

You focus on seeing clients and delivering great care. We handle the rest.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct scheduled telehealth appointments via Kaizen's secure video platform
• Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and/or therapy within your licensure and scope
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timeframes
• Maintain responsiveness to Kaizen's administrative team for scheduling coordination
• Adhere to all applicable state licensing requirements and telehealth regulations
• Maintain active malpractice/liability insurance throughout the contract term
• Communicate proactively regarding availability changes

REQUIREMENTS – NURSE PRACTITIONER (NP)

Credentials \& Licensure:

• Active, unrestricted NP license in one or more U.S. states (multi-state licensure preferred)
• Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification strongly preferred
• Active DEA registration (required for prescribing roles)
• Current and valid NPI number
• Active malpractice/professional liability insurance

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting
• Prior telehealth experience preferred
• Comfortable with EHR platforms and digital-first workflows

REQUIREMENTS – PSYCHIATRIST (MD/DO)

Credentials \& Licensure:

• Active, unrestricted medical license (MD or DO) in one or more U.S. states
• Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
• Active DEA registration
• Current and valid NPI number
• Active malpractice/professional liability insurance

Experience:

• Completion of ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency
• Experience in outpatient psychiatric care and medication management
• Subspecialty experience (addiction, child \& adolescent, geriatric) is a plus
• Telehealth experience preferred
