The Recruiter will support full-cycle recruiting efforts across multiple Canopy Aerospace \& Defense operating companies located across the US, assisting with hiring needs across manufacturing, engineering, and corporate functions. This role is focused on executing core recruiting activities including sourcing, job postings, interview coordination, and candidate experience support in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
This individual will work within established recruiting processes and systems (Lever ATS), partnering closely with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition leadership across the platform to ensure efficient and high-quality hiring outcomes. The role will also contribute to onboarding coordination and early career program support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day recruiting activities across multiple open requisitions spanning multiple business units and geographic locations
- Post jobs, manage job descriptions, and assist with requisition setup in Lever ATS
- Source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and other recruiting tools across multiple markets and regions
- Conduct initial application screening to assess alignment with role requirements
- Schedule and coordinate interviews across multiple time zones and site locations
- Ensure a smooth, responsive, and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring teams across different locations
- Track candidate activity and maintain accurate documentation within Lever ATS
- Follow established recruiting workflows, interview stages, and compliance requirements
- Partner with hiring managers and senior recruiters across multiple business units to support pipeline development and hiring progress
- Assist in preparing candidate summaries and coordinating interview feedback
- Support offer process logistics, including scheduling and documentation
- Contribute to data accuracy, reporting, and audit readiness within the ATS
- Ensure all recruiting activities adhere to EEO, OFCCP, ITAR, and company compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- 3-4\+ years of experience in recruiting, recruiting coordination, or talent acquisition support
- Experience supporting multiple requisitions across different locations or business units preferred
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site or geographically dispersed environment
- Familiarity with ATS systems (Lever preferred or similar platforms)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in scheduling and data tracking
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders across time zones
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a desire to grow within recruiting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting hiring in manufacturing, engineering, or technical environments
- Exposure to compliance-driven environments with off shift needs (e.g., aerospace \& defense, government contracting)
- Experience with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
