Logistics Manager

LMK Recruiting working with a growing company that is currently seeking a Logistics Manager with experience in 3PL Operations \& Process Optimization to join their entrepreneurial and dynamic team. The Logistics Manager will own day-to-day execution and performance of North America 3PL operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong service levels across order fulfillment, inventory, and returns. This role oversees core logistics workflows including order processing, returns, inventory reconciliation, and scrap reporting. In addition, the Logistics Manager will monitor 3PL performance against KPIs, drive process improvements with external partners, and support Finance in quantifying the impact of operational enhancements.

This is a hands-on role that combines operational ownership with performance management and continuous improvement, requiring someone comfortable working in both execution and optimization. The role is hybrid, requiring candidates to live within commuting distance of the Chicago office and be in-office Tuesday through Thursday. Candidates must be located in Illinois, Indiana, or Wisconsin. You’ll be part of a global team working across time zones, collaborating with international partners and contributing to a brand with strong operational scale.

Key Responsibilities

3PL Operations Management

• Own day-to-day operations with the North America 3PL partner
• Manage order processing, returns, inventory reconciliation, and scrap reporting
• Serve as primary escalation point for operational issues
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and service level compliance

Performance \& KPI Management

• Monitor 3PL performance against KPIs and SLAs
• Identify gaps and drive corrective actions with partners
• Support operational reporting and performance reviews
• Ensure consistent execution of service standards

Order Management \& Process Optimization

• Own end-to-end order processing across customers and channels
• Act as key operational liaison for customer coordination and issue resolution
• Standardize workflows across systems and partners
• Reduce errors, cycle time, and manual effort through process improvements
• Support reduction of customer chargebacks through root cause analysis

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency
• Lead process improvements with 3PL and internal stakeholders
• Standardize processes to improve consistency and scalability

Cost Visibility \& Finance Partnership

• Perform monthly 3PL invoice review and validation
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies
• Partner with Finance to quantify savings and operational impact
• Provide operational insights to support financial reporting

Schedule \& Location

This is a hybrid role based near Chicago, with in-office expectations Tuesday through Thursday. Candidates must be located in Illinois, Indiana, or Wisconsin.

Compensation \& Benefits

• Base Salary:

$90,000 – $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications

Eligible for performance-based bonus
