Position Overview

The Head of Engineering will lead our engineering team in the development and execution of innovative virtual reality solutions. This role is pivotal in driving the engineering strategy while ensuring high-quality product delivery and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of VR projects.
• Drive technical strategy and innovation in VR and AR technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, security, firmware, etc.) to define project scope and deliverables.
• Mentor and guide engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software and hardware development processes.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to meet organizational goals.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance product offerings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a leadership role within an engineering team.
• Strong proficiency in Unity and VR development.
• Experience in managing and directing engineering projects.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Familiarity with C#, game development, and software engineering principles.
• Nice to have skills: experience in AR, cybersecurity, hardware, DevOps, and previous roles as Director or VP.
