Landscape Enhancement Manager
Position Summary
The Landscape Enhancement Manager is responsible for the planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution of landscape enhancement projects and work orders. This position leads enhancement crews and oversees daily production to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and according to company quality standards.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can manage people, equipment, materials, and schedules while maintaining a positive culture and driving operational excellence.
Reports To: Branch Manager
Responsibilities:
Production Management
- Schedule and coordinate enhancement crews.
- Manage enhancement projects and work orders from start to finish.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and utility locates.
- Order and coordinate delivery of plant material, hardscape materials, irrigation supplies, and other project materials.
- Conduct daily production planning and crew coordination.
- Perform regular jobsite inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor crew productivity and project progress.
- Ensure projects are completed according to scope, specifications, and company standards.
- Communicate project status, delays, and field issues to management and Account Managers.
- Ensure all additional work is documented and communicated for billing.
Employee Development
- Lead, coach, and develop Crew Leaders and field employees.
- Train employees on proper installation techniques and company standards.
- Conduct performance reviews and development discussions.
- Promote accountability, teamwork, and professionalism.
- Develop future Crew Leaders through coaching and mentoring.
- Ensure employees maintain required training and certifications.
Safety Leadership
- Promote and enforce company safety standards.
- Perform regular safety inspections in the field.
- Train employees on proper equipment operation and jobsite safety.
- Ensure proper PPE usage and safe work practices.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of landscape enhancement, installation, irrigation, or construction management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership and crew management experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and scheduling skills.
- Ability to read plans, specifications, and project scopes.
- Working knowledge of plant materials, hardscape installation, drainage systems, irrigation systems, and landscape construction practices.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to meet company insurance requirements.
