Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Workday Business Analyst

with strong expertise in

Core HCM and Talent Acquisition

to support, optimize, and enhance HR and recruiting processes. This role will work closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions while ensuring system stability, data integrity, and a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a functional subject matter expert for Workday Core HCM and Talent Acquisition modules.
  • Manage and support recruiting processes including job requisitions, workflows, offer management, onboarding, and employee lifecycle events.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate them into functional designs and system configurations.
  • Configure and maintain Workday business processes (BPs), eligibility rules, condition rules, calculated fields, and security settings.
  • Support Workday biannual releases, including impact analysis, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and regression validation.
  • Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition teams to streamline hiring, onboarding, and employee data management processes.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Develop and maintain functional documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams, vendors, and implementation partners to ensure successful integrations and data accuracy.

Required Qualifications

  • 10\+ years of total IT experience, including experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
  • 4\+ years of hands-on experience as a Workday Business Analyst or Functional Consultant.
  • Strong expertise in Workday Core HCM and Talent Acquisition modules.
  • Solid understanding of HR and recruiting business processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday configurations, including business processes, security, condition rules, and calculated fields.
  • Proven ability to gather requirements and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday certification(s) in HCM and/or Talent Acquisition.
  • Experience supporting Workday integrations and reporting related to Core HR or Talent Acquisition.
  • Prior experience in construction, engineering, or project-based industries.
  • Exposure to additional Workday modules such as Onboarding, Compensation, or Advanced Reporting.
