Job Description

At LinkedIn, hybrid roles are performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. Remote roles are performed from the designated home work location upon time of hire, and any changes to this home work location requires a review of remote status and approval.

This role will be based in San Francisco, Sunnyvale, New York City or Remote.

The Owned In-House Agency Team will be part of the Channel Strategy \& Operations (CSO) marketing team.  The CSO mission is to create demand, convert demand efficiently at scale, and deliver value by increasing effectiveness and efficiency across Marketing.  CSO owns the planning, execution, optimization, innovation and stewardship of Paid and Owned media.  The Owned In-House Agency Team supports the LinkedIn Owned Media team, which leads channel strategy, prioritization, and performance across Email and LinkedIn Ads. This team partners closely with Owned Media to bring campaigns to life at scale, ensuring high-quality execution and operational excellence across a complex portfolio. This includes driving execution of campaign builds, QA, and reporting insights based on the Owned Media team's strategy and priorities. This team also plays a key role in enabling efficiency and consistency through the use and enablement of technology, automation, and tooling -- delivering impact through execution, scalability, and continuous improvement within a high-performing marketing organization.

The Sr. Marketing Operations Manager oversees a team responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable execution across LinkedIn’s owned media channels, including Email and LinkedIn Ads. This role operates as a horizontal capability across business units, stepping in to support high-priority innovation initiatives, rapid-response escalations, and cross-portfolio execution needs that fall outside of standard quarterly planning. This role is also responsible for identifying opportunities to drive innovation through automation, testing, and a curiosity mindset on new functionalities and capabilities within our ecosystem and the broader industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Activation

  • Manage a team responsible for end-to-end execution of Email and LinkedIn Ads campaigns across ad hoc, high-priority, and cross-functional initiatives
  • Ensure high-quality, timely delivery of campaigns, particularly in scenarios requiring rapid turnaround or elevated visibility
  • Act as the primary owner for execution during escalations or “red button” scenarios that require coordinated, cross-portfolio updates
  • Partner with business unit-aligned teams to relieve capacity constraints and enable delivery of incremental or unplanned initiatives

Operational Innovation \& Automation

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve execution workflows, reduce manual effort, and increase scalability across channels
  • Partner with Audience Operations to improve coordination, data flow, and activation efficiency on BAU as well as innovation initiatives
  • Test initiatives that span multiple business lines, including experimentation with new formats, features, and execution approaches – partnering with cross-functional teams where needed (Audience Operations, Labs, etc.)
  • Ensure learnings are captured, scaled, and shared across the organization to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7\+ years of experience in digital marketing
  • 2\+ years of leadership experience with or without direct reports

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing offshore teams
  • Strong expertise in campaign build, QA, and deployment processes within platforms such as Adobe Campaign and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Track record of improving operational processes and driving efficiency at scale
  • Experience building or optimizing systems, workflows, or automation that improve team performance
  • Demonstrated curiosity and forward-thinking mindset, with a strong pulse on digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and evolving channel capabilities
  • Track record of proactively identifying and piloting new approaches, formats, or features to drive performance and operational efficiency

The pay range for this role is $125,000 to $195,000\. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
