Job Title: Production / Operations Manager Dallas TX
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 DOE

Job Description:
As a Production / Operations Manager at our factory, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the manufacturing processes to ensure the timely and efficient production of high-quality products. You will be responsible for managing the entire production operation, from raw material procurement to final product shipment. Your leadership and expertise will be pivotal in maintaining production standards, improving efficiency, and ensuring product quality. This role reports to the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
1\. Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.
2\. Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain strict quality control standards to ensure that products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
3\. Inventory Management: Oversee raw material and finished goods inventory levels, optimizing stock levels to minimize waste and downtime.
4\. Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and motivate production staff, ensuring they are trained, skilled, and aligned with company goals.
5\. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase output.
6\. Cost Control: Manage production costs effectively while adhering to budgetary constraints.
7\. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that production equipment is properly maintained and repaired to minimize downtime.
8\. Health and Safety: Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
9\. Supplier Relationships: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply of raw materials and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
10\. Environmental Sustainability: Identify and implement sustainable manufacturing practices to minimize the factory's environmental footprint.
11\. Reporting: Provide regular reports to the General Manager and senior management on production performance, quality metrics, and KPIs.
12\. Compliance: Ensure that the factory complies with all relevant regulations, including labor laws, safety standards, and quality certifications.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Manufacturing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
· Proven experience in production and operations management, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
· Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
· Understanding of football manufacturing processes and materials is a plus.
