Sr. Human Resources Specialist

We’re looking for an experienced, confident, polished, and flexible HR generalist to join our close-knit team. In this role, you’ll partner with our clients to help implement HR solutions that drive business results. Our ideal candidate will have experience in multiple HR disciplines, excellent judgement and problem-solving skills, and an ability to effectively build strong relationships. This is a full-time job in Jacksonville, Florida with occasional travel to onsite client locations.

Must Haves

  • 4\+ years of experience as an HR Generalist and proven success partnering with employees and managers to deliver HR solutions and services in support of business objectives
  • Hands on experience in multiple HR disciplines including benefits administration, employee relations, manager coaching, data administration, onboarding and offboarding, performance management, compensation and job design, workplace and employment policies, and engagement initiatives/programs
  • Familiarity with state and federal employment laws
  • Excellent communication, initiative, follow-up, and follow-through skills
  • An ability to confidently lead meetings and conversations with business owners and leaders, including speaking and presenting both virtually and in-person
  • Experience using an HRIS system for viewing, changing data and reporting; technology savviness
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, HR, Psychology, or another related field

  • SHRM Certified Professional (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP)
