Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Delphi Developer with a strong background in the Banking domain and SmartCOMM document solutions. The ideal candidate will have 10\+ years of hands-on Delphi development experience and will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise applications and document solutions, while effectively collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to understand requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment
• Conduct impact analysis and provide development effort estimates
• Coding and development of applications using Delphi
• Development and maintenance of desktop and database applications
• Design, development, and maintenance of SmartCOMM document templates
• Configure SmartCOMM components including layouts, fragments, data models, and rules
• Validate SmartCOMM templates for data accuracy and dynamic content
• Ensure compliance, version control, and documentation of SmartCOMM assets
• Prepare Technical Specifications, High-Level Design (HLD), and Low-Level Design (LLD)
• Develop efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Investigate production issues and implement resolutions
• Support and maintain Delphi-based applications
• Support and maintain SmartCOMM templates
• Prepare test cases and test data, execute testing, and validate results
• Capture and validate test outcomes

Required Skills \& Experience

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Delphi development
• Strong expertise in Object Pascal and Delphi-based application development
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL
• Hands-on experience with SmartCOMM (Thunderhead/Smart Communications)
• Experience in desktop application development and legacy systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities
• Experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain is preferred
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and version control systems
